Francesco Raimondi

Francesco Raimondi, of Elmhurst, IL, entered into the Lord’s kingdom at 11:51 am on Wednesday, June 7th, 2023 at age 73. He was born on January 9th, 1950 in Triggiano, Bari, Italy to Vito and Angela (Sasanelli) Raimondi. Francesco, a loving father, brother, uncle, husband, and Nonno, immigrated to the United States with his wife and two young sons in November 1975 to Chicago, Illinois.

Francesco is survived by his love and wife of 51 years, Anna Raimondi; brothers Gennaro Raimondi and Donato Raimondi; sister Angela Antonacci; children Vito (Carol) Raimondi and Luigi (Gina) Raimondi; granddaughters Isabella Raimondi and Anna Raimondi; grandson Francesco Raimondi; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. He is preceded in death by parents Vito and Angela Raimondi and brother Nicola Raimondi.

Francesco had a successful career as a plumber and contractor. He loved music, dancing, and wine – drinking it and making it from scratch every year in his backyard. He enjoyed barbecuing for family and friends and sitting in the ocean every chance he got. He was deeply loved, and will be missed by all.
