Francisco L. Gestoso, Jr.

Francisco L. Gestoso, Jr., known affectionately as “Uncle Boy” or “Boy,” passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 77. Born in the Philippines, he moved to the U.S. and met his beloved wife, Perla, in Chicago. They were married for 45 years. A devoted family man, Francisco is survived by his wife, his children, Frances (Jonathan) and Franklin, and his grandson, Jared Joseph “JJ.” He will be remembered for his love of fishing, chess, and music, especially Elvis Presley. His charismatic personality and deadpan jokes brought laughter and light to all who knew him.

A two-day "Celebration of Life" will be held at Salerno’s Rosendale, 450 W. Lake Street, Roselle, IL 60172.
