George Hirsch
Beloved husband of Barbara Hirsch of 63 years; Devoted father of Clarissa (Erwin) Fleps and Mark (Nancy) Hirsch; Loving son of the late Josef and Margaret Hirsch; Dear brother of 5 brothers and 2 sisters; Dear grandfather of George and Andreas Fleps, Noelle and Jake (Katie) Hirsch; Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

George was born in Romania on February 7, 1934. He moved to Chicago from Germany in 1955 and immediately began his career in the aluminum die casting industry. He married Barbara on November 9, 1957 and was drafted into the Army at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri in 1958. He started his own company, G&M Die Casting, in 1978. George loved to travel, ski and he rode his dirt bike into his late seventies. He will be remembered by his immense generosity and tireless work ethic. Services will be held privately at Salerno’s Rosedale in Roselle, IL. In Lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to “Feed The Children” or “Wounded Warrior Project”.
