Gloria Rossi passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 94.
Born on July 20, 1932, Gloria lived a long life that will be remembered with love and respect. Her passing brings sorrow to those who knew her and gratitude for the years she shared with family and friends. She will be held in cherished memory by all whose lives were touched by her presence.
Gloria married the love of her life, the late Angelo in 1952 and together they raised 2 sons; Robert and Ronald. While raising her family, Gloria stood by Angelo’s side as he started Rossi Contractors which remains a family owned and operated business for over 75 years. Gloria’s legacy is fully marked by her love and constant pride of her sons; Robert (Vickie, daughter-in-law) and Ronald (Joy), the lights of her life, her grandchildren Natalie, Robert and Lisa (Mario) and her precious great-grandchildren Arianna and Nicolas; Fond sister of the late Carmella (the late Anthony) Dominic, the late Minnie (the late James) Fosco and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels, 450 W Lake St, Roselle, Illinois 60172. Prayers and final viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 1233 W Holtz Ave, Addison, Illinois 60101. Entombment will take place at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleums, 1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, Illinois 60162.
May Gloria Rossi rest in peace and may her memory remain a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
