Jack L. Fortini

Jack L. Fortini Sr., age 94, beloved husband of 53 years of the late Rosemary nee Foy Fortini; Jack was born and lived his entire life in Chicago. He graduated from Fenwick High School and Ball State University. He proudly served his country as a Navy pilot in World War II. Jack worked as an electrical engineer at General Electric for over 40 years. Jack was the loving father of Jack Jr. (Dena), Frank E. (Elaine) , Jan L. (Richard) Evans and Maryan (Joseph) Stoffel; cherished grandfather of Eric, Amber, Amanda, Laura, Chad, Frank Jr., Ryan, Jaclyn, Sarah, Adam, Bryan and Cory; great grandfather of 12; dear brother of the late William (Lee) Fortini and Jack (Gerri) Picchietti; dear brother-in-law of the late Maryan F.  (Arthur H. Sr.) Weller; Funeral Friday 9:00 a.m. from Salerno’s Galewood Chapels, 1857 N. Harlem Ave., Chicago to St. Vincent Ferrer Church.  Funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment at All Saints Cemetery.
