James Lawrence Lojewski
March 5, 1945 - July 4, 2025
Jim Lojewski, a beacon of joy and positivity, left an indelible mark on the lives of everyone he met. With a heart full of love and countless adventures, Jim lived 100 lives in his extraordinary 80 years of life, touching the hearts of family, friends, and coworkers.
Born on March 5, 1945, Jim grew into a man with a passion for life, work, and experiencing as much as humanly possible. He served his country honorably as a soldier in the U.S. Army.
As a devoted Cement Mason with Local 502, he took pride in working with his hands. His true joy, however, lay in the time he spent with loved ones, whether through travel, quiet moments, or grand adventures. Jim's yard, meticulously tended and lovingly cared for, was his sanctuary - a reflection of the care and attention he brought to every aspect of his life.
Jim's greatest legacy is the love and laughter he shared with his family and friends. He is survived by his sister, Elaine Daszczuk; son, David Schrader; grandchildren Clifford, Kori, Keila, Nathan, Linus, Paci, Ripley, Damian, and Jennifer, great-grandchildren Stella, Sullivan, Harriet, Virgil, Declan, Erin, Connor, and Charlotte; sister-in-law Patricia Lojewski; nephews Robert Lojewski, Joseph, and Kenneth Daszczuk; and an uncountable number of friends who adored him.
As his grandson, "The Cliffster", so eloquently put it,
"Grandpa's superpower was the ability to make everyone he met love him."
This statement captures the essence of Jim's spirit - a man who brought a lasting impact on those around him.
Jim's passing on July 4, 2025, was as peaceful as his life was vibrant. Surrounded by the memories of a lifetime well-lived. He spent the morning visiting by phone with friends and relatives, then met up with his oldest, dearest friends for what turned out to be a 4.5 hour day of laughter, memories and happiness. He returned home where he tended to his place of zen, his yard, and retired for the night where he slipped away, peacefully in his sleep, reunited with his beloved Terry, brother Bob, parents Joseph and Stella, and many dear friends and pets who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms and joyful cheers.
As we say goodbye to this extraordinary man, we take comfort in the memories he created, the love he shared, and the lessons he taught us about living life to the fullest. Jim's legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched, and his memory will continue to inspire us to live with the same joy, positivity, and love that defined him.
Rest in peace, dear Jim. Your love, laughter, and light will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you bring smiles, laughter, stories to share and the love you feel for him to make this as joyous a gathering as possible.
