Janusz Wroblewski, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather, passed away on February 11, 2026, at the age of 84 in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Born on September 22, 1941, in Stanislawow, Poland, Janusz's journey through life was marked by dedication to family, hard work, and a deep pride in his accomplishments.

Janusz graduated college with a 4 year technical degree in Poland. This foundation of knowledge, combined with his relentless work ethic and emotional warmth, formed the essence of who he was. He was the epitome of a family-driven man who poured his heart into everything he did.

Janusz's career was diverse and industrious. He began his professional life as a butcher in the Chicago stockyards before moving on to work in a meat processing plant. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to become a restaurant owner, running Chez Polonaise and later Sunset Point, where he shared his passion for European food with many. Janusz also took on the role of a general contractor, showcasing his skills by building homes for his family, demonstrating not just his handiwork but his strong desire to provide for those he loved.

His love for his wife, Mary, was particularly evident through the simple pleasures he brought into their lives. Janusz had a special affinity for flowers, often tending to the garden and bringing fresh blooms home to brighten Mary's day. His care and affection extended beyond the petals, as he beamed with pride for his family, the proudest accomplishment of his life.

Janusz is survived by his beloved wife Mary, and their children: daughter Alina Klepacz, and sons Greg (Candi) and Tom (Shannon), and daughter Renee (Robert) Stranz. He adored his 10 grandchildren Justyna, Kyle, Evan, Ava, Olivia, Emilia, Thomas, Ryan, Michael, and Sophia, and was filled with joy at the arrival of his great-grandchild, Natalia. His brother, Richard (Grace Marie) and many cousins, nieces and nephews, will also hold his memory dear.

Janusz is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Wroblewska, and his father, Jan Wroblewski. Their legacy lives on through Janusz's family, a testament to the values they instilled in him.

The visitation will take place on February 19, 2026, at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A prayer service will follow on February 20, 2026, beginning at 9:00 AM, also at Salerno's Rosedale Chapels. A Mass in honor of Janusz's life will be held afterwards at St. Walter Church at 10:00 AM.

Janusz Wroblewski leaves behind a profound legacy of love, hard work, and devotion to family. He will forever be remembered for his endearing spirit and the joy he brought to those around him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love he so generously gave during his life.
