Jerzy "George" Serwin

Jerzy “George” Serwin, 66, unexpectedly passed in his home in Hanover Park, IL on July 10th, 2024. Jerzy is the beloved husband of Agnieszka; Dear former husband of Anna; Loving son of Janina and Michal; Proud father of Michal, Angela, and Kasia (partner, Matt); Dear brother of Grace, Monika, Rysiu, and Januszek; Dear stepfather of Adrian; Dear father-in-law of Kristin (parents, Elke and Lothar); Cherished grandfather of Leo; Dear uncle of Oriana, Grant, Natalia, Wojtek, Karolina, Luiza, and Anita; Dear brother-in-law of Jay, Waldek, and Marta; Dear son-in-law of Helena and Tadeusz; Devoted companion to Minnie, Daisy, and Meeko; And an unforgettable friend to many. Jerzy was a proud Polish Army veteran with a passion for gardening, cooking, outdoors, cars, and movies. He will be remembered for his skilled craftsmanship, adventurous spirit, love of animals, and will be dearly missed for his determination to put a smile on everyone’s face with his goofy humor. Jerzy was one of a kind, and we will especially miss his strong, comforting embrace. Jerzy was preceded in death by his brothers, parents, former wife, and father-in-law.
