Jill Bonfield

Jill Jablonski Bonfield passed away peacefully on October 16, 2026, with her family by her side, after a courageous journey with cancer. 

Jill was born to Theodore and Georgia Jablonski and was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John Jablonski. 

Jill and her husband, Mike Bonfield, built a wonderful life and extended family together. She brought warmth, kindness and generosity to those around her and was always willing to lend a hand or do something thoughtful for someone else. Jill enjoyed dancing, gardening, spending time with family, and especially her beloved dog, Casey. She found joy in the simple things and in caring for the people and places she loved. 

Those who knew Jill will remember her for the way she showed up for others, the joy she found in everyday life, and the many memories she leaves behind. 

A Celebration of Life for Jill will be held on Saturday, November 14, at 100 N. Haven Rd., 7th Floor, Elmhurst, Illinois 60126. 

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., followed by a short Celebration of Life service at 4:00 p.m. led by the hospice chaplain and family. Dinner and time together will immediately follow the service.
