BLOOMINGDALE – Joanna Verven (nee Cotsiopoulos), age 84, formerly of Kerasitsa, Tripolis, Greece, beloved wife of the late Alex W.; devoted mother of William (Kimberly) Verven; dear sister of Betty (Tom) Papadakos, Christ, John (Irene) Boutzarelos and the late George (Maria) Bouzarelos; dear grandmother of Alexandra, Alec and Edmund Verven; dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday, 9 a.m. from Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (¾ mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road), Roselle to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Elmhurst, for services at 10 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation Monday, 3 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
