Beloved husband of Antoinette “Toni”, nee Santoro; Devoted father of Franco (Kim) and Joseph (Natalie and son, Nico); Loving son of the late Franco and Rosa De Astis; Dear brother of Diego (Nancy), Nick (the late Maria) and Mario (Ania) De Astis; Beloved son-in-law of Grace and the late Joseph Santoro; Fond brother-in-law of Nick (Angela) Santoro, Lisa (Patrick) Barch and the late Gabriel “Lino” (Kim) Santoro; Adored Papa of Lia Rose De Astis; Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; John was the proud Co-Owner of Asti Deli for over 35 years and John was the proud owner of his dogs, Daisy and the late Shelby; Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St., Roselle (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rd.) Chapel Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
