Beloved husband of Carol (nee Schallowitz); devoted father of John Jr. (Kathleen), Ed (Carol) Stanko and the late Cathy (Mark) Baker; dear grandfather of Kyle (Jessica), Colleen, Samantha and Johnny Stanko, Jack Baker, Shaun (Laura), Alex and Nicholas Agase; great-grandfather of Addison. Family and friends to gather Friday 9:30 a.m. at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (¾ mile west of Bloomingdale/ Roselle Road), Roselle for a Chapel Service at 10:30 a.m. Interment private. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. For information, 630-889-1700.
