John Patrick Vescio     March 17, 1947 – March 14, 2026

John Patrick Vescio passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, just days before his 79th birthday.  Born to Sam and Laura(Falbo)Vescio, John was the youngest of eight children. Throughout his life, he was known for his love of family, generous spirit, and enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 yrs, Martha Lynn Vescio; his daughter, Nicolette Marie and her husband, Lou Cosentino, daughter of his first wife, Donna M.(Amidei) Vescio; his daughter, Jessica Patricia and her husband, Phillip Barone, daughter of his second wife, Donna I. (Galfano )Vescio, who preceded him in death; and Martha’s children Troy Spurlock and his wife, Christie, and Jessica Spurlock Hanson. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Annina, Dominic, Anthony, John, Nikolas, Stelle, Payton, Camden, and Autumn, and a dearly loved Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

John loved Elvis, singing karaoke, fishing, playing cards, real estate investing, and especially hosting his large extended family for reunions. He mentored countless people through his extensive career as a teacher of HVAC at Triton College. He was happiest when surrounded by those he loved most with a cup of coffee in his hand.

He was a Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Mentor and Friend.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
