Justin Clark

Justin Isaiah Clark, 37, of Schaumburg, IL, passed away on August 14, 2026. He was the loving husband to Samantha (Sam) Clark. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, an abundance of laughter, and countless cherished memories. Justin had a remarkable ability to walk into a room and make it brighter. His lighthearted personality and comfort in his own skin showed in his habit of wearing Hawaiian shirts to most events, bringing a smile to everyone around him. His sense of humor was top-notch, always ready with a quick comeback or joke for any situation. With his laid-back personality and a knack for keeping a straight face, he had a unique way of making ordinary moments feel extraordinary and leaving everyone with memories to last a lifetime.

Justin was born in Chicago, IL, to Daniel III and Katie Clark on February 24, 1989. He grew up in Country Club Hills, IL, with four siblings before moving to Bloomingdale, IL. He attended Stratford Middle School and graduated from Glenbard North High School in 2007. Justin then attended the University of Iowa, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Interdepartmental Studies (Health Science) with a minor in Human Relations.

Justin’s career began in 2008 and included roles at Best Buy, Costco, a summer internship with the American Academy of Pediatrics, and work as a Behavioral Health Counselor with Hinsdale Hospital. Since 2017, Justin worked for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons in Rosemont, IL, starting as a Meetings Coordinator and advancing to Web Developer. He enjoyed volunteering with the Schaumburg SeptemberFest and Feed My Starving Children.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Justin will be remembered most for his energy, curiosity, and love. As a child, he was energetic and enjoyed spending time with his brothers, staying overnight with cousins and friends, playing football, playing video games, and going on family trips. He grew into an amazing person with a positive outlook on life, always striving for excellence—whether acquiring innovative technology skills such as photo editing, focusing on physical fitness, or fine tuning his fire making and archery skills for his Survivor audition tape. His joy and optimism were evident in the way he lived.

Justin and Sam met the old-fashioned way, at a bar in downtown Iowa City in 2013. They were married in 2019 at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas in front of their closest family and friends. They were complete opposites with the unique ability to bring out the absolute best in each other. They loved traveling with friends, sharing their passion for music, watching football and the entire Marvel multiverse in Justin’s man cave and doting over their beloved pets.

Justin was ecstatic to announce the upcoming arrival of their son, due in December 2026. He could often be caught reading his Expectant Dads Survival Guide or preparing the nursery. He strived to emulate all the father-like qualities his dad had shown him growing up. May Justin’s wild imagination, lighthearted humor, and compassion for others live on in his son.

Justin is survived by his wife, Samantha; his mother, Katie; his brothers, Daryl, Daniel IV, Jason, and Joshua; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving father, Daniel Clark, III. Though Justin is no longer here to fill a room with his quick wit, his spirit and unconditional love live on through all whose lives he touched. A Memorial Service for Justin will be held at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St., Roselle, IL 60172 (630-889-1700) on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 12:00PM - 4:00PM. The family invites all who knew him to attend and share memories with each other. You are welcome to wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt if you choose.
