In Loving Memory of Kenneth L. Jacobs
Kenneth L. Jacobs, a proud Army veteran, leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. For 18 wonderful years, he was the devoted partner of Ruth Reynolds. Together, they found immense joy in nurturing and observing nature. They devoted countless hours to observing and feeding the birds, squirrels, ducks, and bunnies that visited their yard, taking great delight in their presence.
Ken’s love for the natural world extended beyond his backyard. He and Ruth cherished their weekend getaways to Door County and other picturesque destinations, where they enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors. His appreciation for wildlife and the environment was a central part of his life and brought him endless happiness.
Ken had a fulfilling career, working for Chicago and Northwest Railroad and later for Bruce Offset Print and Mark Printing in Arlington Heights. He retired at the age of 80.
Ken enjoyed watching all professional sports and took the time to read the box scores in his daily newspaper. His 89 years were enriched by the company of Ruth’s children and grandchildren. His furry friend, Gracie, adored him, and many special memories were created celebrating weddings, anniversaries, and birthdays together.
Ken will be deeply missed by all who knew him. We take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace, resting in God’s loving arms.
