Beloved husband of the late Lourdes (nee Losada) Cairo; loving father of Lawrence J. Cairo, Robert P. (Beverly) Cairo; cherished grandfather of Lauren Marie and Robert Stanley Cairo; dear brother of the late Rafaella Masini; fond uncle of Lourdes, Eddie, the late Anna, Laura and Alipio. Lawrence was retired after 25 years of service for the Cook County Sheriff’s Office. Funeral Thursday at 9:00 a.m. from Salerno’s Galewood Chapels, Sciaraffa Funeral Directors, 1857 N. Harlem Ave., Chicago, 60707, to St. Giles Church, 1025 N. Columbian Ave., Oak Park, 60302 for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 2-8 PM.
