Lisa Reid-Winarski

Lisa Reid - Winarski, beloved mother, wife, nana, daughter and friend passed away on April 16th, 2026 at the age of 59. She was surrounded by her loving family at Alexian Brothers Hospital in Elk Grove Village.

Born on May 6th, 1966 in Melrose Park. Lisa was the daughter of John and Clara Iovinelli. She grew up in Schaumburg and graduated from Schaumburg High School in 1984. She worked at the Schaumburg Park District for over 35 years touching countless lives in her community.

Throughout her life, Lisa was a source of unwavering love. Lisa cared for her family and friends with selfless devotion. She married Joseph Winarski in Destin Beach, Florida, where she loved to be. Together they blended their 6 children with love and cherished memories. Her children Amber and Dante, followed by her step-children, Joey, Tony, Nicole, and Danielle will forever be grateful for her love, patience and kindness.

Lisa had an obsession with Michael Jackson, horror, and working out. Everything had to be red and black, her favorite colors. She has a closet full of red purses, a studded skull on her mantle, and Michael Jackson memorabilia on display in her home. She was known as the silly, fun, cool Aunt. Her aura was contagious and she deeply connected with her nieces and nephews. She is singing and dancing with Michael now.

In addition to her children, Lisa is survived by her 12 grandchildren, 4 siblings and mother, Clara. Along with all of her other relatives and friends who were touched by her warmth.

The wake to honor and celebrate Lisa's life will be held at Salerno's Funeral Home located at 450 W. Lake St. Roselle, IL on Friday, April 24th 2026 from 3-9 PM.

The funeral service will start at Salerno's Funeral Home at 10 AM. Followed by 11:30 AM Mass at St. Hubert Church, located at 729 Grand Canyon St. Hoffman Estates, IL. Arrangements are by Salerno's Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lisa's memory to Autism Speaks, in honor of her son. Lisa dedicated her life to Dante, ensuring that he was happy, loved and supported.
