Louise S. Monaco

Louise S. Monaco, born on December 5, 1924, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2025, at the age of 100.
Louise was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Pat, with whom she shared an extraordinary 77 years of marriage. Together, they found their greatest joy in spending time with family and friends. Ballroom dancing was a cherished pastime for Louise and Pat, and they delighted in socializing with friends at the Oak Brook Club, where they once resided, and later at Park Place of Elmhurst, their current home. Louise’s warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband, Pat; her children, Don (Patricia) Monaco and Marilyn (Bob) Kania; her treasured grandchildren, Kerry (Vlad), Scott (Christy), Vicki (Nick), and Tracy (James); and her adored great-grandchildren, Briana, Tyler, Sydney, Rylan, Brynn, Paige, Asher, and Julian. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. Louise was preceded in death by her dear brothers Larry Marcuccillo and Albert Marco, as well as her sisters Florence Holly, Angeline Marcuccillo, and Rose Berti. Louise’s legacy of love and joy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
