Margaret L. Cline

Margaret L. Cline, formerly of Melrose Park and a current resident of Glen Ellyn, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, at the age of 81. Margaret was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Weier (Dan), and her cherished grandsons, Alex (fiancée Katelyn), Ryan, and Kevin, who brought her great pride and joy. She was the beloved sister of Bill Cline (Marie), Lucille Cline, Joyce Cline, Gloria Theros (George), Mary Kruse (Al), and Phyllis Muzupappa (Mike). She was preceded in death by her brother, Rich Cline(Darlene). Margaret is also fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Margaret enjoyed a successful career in banking and retired as a Vice President at Midwest Bank and Trust in Melrose Park, where she was respected for her professionalism and dedication. A lifelong Chicago Cubs fan, Margaret rarely missed a game and remained a loyal supporter through every season. She also enjoyed the friendship and companionship of her Red Hat Society group.

Margaret will be remembered for her love of family, her strong work ethic, and the joy she found in simple pleasures. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
