Loving wife of John for 56 years; Loving mother of Theresa (Bret) Scimeca-Hancock, John and the late Anthony; Loving Mimi of Jennifer Jenna (Frank), Josh, Sara, Emma, Terriann, Cody, Anna and John, Great Grandma of Sophie and Ben; Dear sister of Joe and Garnett and the late Ella, June and Oakie. Marie “Mimi” was a very special woman loved by many. She was known to be outspoken and you always knew what she was thinking cause she told you. She was a woman of strong faith and family. Her passion was cooking with her specialty being chicken gumbo, meat pies and rice and gravy. Her spirit, words of wisdom and her comical sayings will be remembered and quoted by all of us forever.
