Marlene Quigley

Marlene Quigley, age 84, passed peacefully on Wednesday 4th February, 2026 at home in Bloomingdale, Illinois with her devoted family. Marlene Quigley, daughter of the late William and Catherine McLean, is the beloved wife of Patrick Quigley, adored mother of Susan, Edward and Paulene, loving mother in law of Rob, Alison and Michael and darling grandmother of Marlena, Tessabell, Elektra, Eleanore, Emiliana and Fiona Jane. She is the loved and gentle sister of Lorna and the late Walter, William and Ian.

Marlene and Patrick loved adventure and travel. Together they emigrated to Chicago sixty years ago, from Greenock Scotland and returned many times as her family grew. She treasured her Scottish roots, with a beautiful lilting accent that never faded, much like her optimism. Her gentle, kind and giving nature brought joy to everyone who met her. Marlene welcomed countless family and friends, and became an emotional lighthouse guiding others through their journeys.  Marlene's legacy is one of faith, warmth and love that resonate with all blessed to know her. Thank you for sharing your precious life with us.

Rest in Peace, Marlene. Heaven has a new angel.
