Mary C. Bieschke (nee Gilbert), age 66, of West Chicago passed away peacefully with her husband of 35 years by her side on October 28, 2021 after a courageous battle with Huntington’s Disease. She was born November 21, 1954 and grew up in Hoffman Estates, IL. Mary is preceded in death by her parents Maurice & Catherine, and her brothers Michael, John, and Dennis Gilbert.  She is survived by her husband Robert Bieschke, brother Thomas (Debra) Gilbert, and her sister Suzanne (Thomas) Sturgulewski, nieces Stefanie (Jason) Combs, Lauren Sturgulewski and nephew Tyler Sturgulewski. Fond Sister In Law of Judith (Edward) John, James (Christine) Bieschke and Linda (Donald) Bensing. Dear Aunt of several nieces and nephews. Mary enjoyed traveling. She cherished time spent making memories with her nieces and nephews.  She looked forward to all holiday and celebration gatherings with family and friends. Mary demonstrated a strong will and embraced life. She was a true fighter and she will be dearly missed. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St., Roselle, IL from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass Friday at St. Hubert Church, 729 Grand Canyon Pkwy, Hoffman Estates, IL at 10:30 a.m. Friends & Family are asked to meet directly at the church.
