Maxine (Fugate)Conner. 84, of St. Charles, IL died suddenly on February 28, 2026.

Her smile never faded even when her memory did. She loved walking and doing puzzles.

She was met in heaven by her beloved husband Tom. She was also preceded in death by her cherished sons Thomas and Randy Conner, her parents Joseph and Callie Fugate and siblings Virgie Woolum and Charlie Fugate.

She is survived by her children, Denny Grigsby (Wanda), Dedra Reeves (Paul), Shirlyn Reeves (Boyd), Patti Byers (Keith), three brothers, James Fugate (Julie), Jesse Fugate (Marilyn), George Fugate (Leslie), and one sister, Charlotte Faulkner (Sam). Nine grandchildren, Stevens Grigsby (Jennifer), Scotty Grigsby, Lori Notta (John), Donna LeMone (Joe), Eric Byers (Hannah), David Reeves (Lily), Ariel Lane (Michael), Daniel Reeves and Tara Byers.
She was also Great Grandmother to eleven great grandchildren, Johnny, Callie, Vinnie, Emma, Nicholas, Cheyenne, Brielle, Thorin, Violet, Grayson, Wesley and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation at Salerno in Roselle on Friday March 6, 2026 from 3-8 pm. Service at 7pm.
