Survived by Marlene (Sam Procopio), Linda (Lou Scaramuzzo), and Penny (Bill Darnell). Godfather to Rachael Castaldo and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Mickey spent his career as a licensed union plumbing contractor. Everyone lucky enough to have met Mickey learned to make every day an adventure. He was the type to help someone in need and he loved spending time with family, especially with the grandchildren. He will be missed greatly.

Papa was the ideal grandpa. He taught me to be the man I am today, and shaped my sense of humor into a mini version of his. From teaching me how to build a fire, how to shoot a bow and arrow, inspiring my green thumb, and telling me stories about his life. He truly was his own special kind of unique and I think that’s why everyone loved him.

My papa was a silly goofy guy. He would lie his butt off for jokes and just keep adding and adding on top of them, making everyone laugh. He knew how to make a crowd of people laugh and also knew when to make those jokes and laughs. He could cheer anyone up with a few words or a few jokes that you have never heard before. He was the man that everyone loved and that was hard to hate. I will forever miss him and our laughs we shared.

- Luke Davis

Papa was one of the best men I knew, he became my father figure after my dad died. He always cared for me, always screwed around with me, and told me stories from the past. He was one of the nicest and funniest people I knew.
