Michael Densford

Michael Densford, age 81, of Carol Stream passed away at Edwards Hines, Jr. VA Hospital on December 16, 2024. Michael was surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren, family, and friends when he was called home. Michael leaves behind his loving wife of 45 years, Gilda Densford, and his children Teri Brown (Simon) Emma, Cynthia Densford-Kilcullen (Edward) Paige and Barrett, Michael D. Densford (Gia) Gianluca and Massimo, James Densford (Elizabeth) Rosalina. His brother Ron Densford, Nieces and Nephews, Pamela, Paula, Ronnie and Travis. His Sister in-law Pina DiCristofano (Dominic) Niece and Nephew, Bianca and Sergio. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Everett Densford and Edna Densford, along with his mother and father in-law Ippolito Sorci and Rosa Sorci. Michael was a proud Marine serving 2 tours in Vietnam where he received an honorable discharge after being wounded. He worked in Ramp Service for United Airlines and retired after 45 years of service. Michael was an avid fisherman and spent a portion of his time in Florida fishing on piers and boats in fresh water and salt water. He also loved to cook and to talk about cooking and giving unsolicited recipes to anyone who said, “that tastes good”. He had a zest for life, his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Friend. He will be deeply missed.
