Mildred "Butchie" Sagan

Mildred “Butchie” Sagan nee: Cantore, Beloved Wife of Phillip Sagan; Loving Mother of Sari (Joe) Scudiero, Dina (Dominic) Vozella, and Anthony Sagan; Proud Nana to Gia, Joey, Nikki, and Phillip; Daughter of the late Anna and Andrew Cantore; Loving sister to the late Andrew (the late Rosalie) Cantore, the late Dominick (companion of Ereen) Cantore and former husband of Carmella; the late Marie Valicento; Tina (the late Chris) Avino; the late Annabelle (the late Robert) Whittinghill; the late Camille (the late Chuckie) DiMaso; Richard (the late Lucy) Cantore and former husband of Joanie; dear aunt, and friend to many. Butchie was born and raised on Taylor St. (Chicago’s Little Italy). She graduated from St. Pat’s High School. Then got married to Phil in 1964, at Our Lady of Pompei Church, and just celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary. She was a shopaholic, never bothered to look at the price tag, loved to play the slot machines, stay at her condo in Fort Lauderdale, where she would spend the day by the pool with her girlfriends, entertaining everyone with her colorful vocabulary, and was known to be very outspoken (a little too much at times). Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye, and they were never wrong! Arrangements entrusted by Ralph Massey Funeral Director.
