Norma L. Seego (nee Sulovka)

Norma Seego, age 81, passed away surrounded by family on September 9, 2026. She was the devoted wife of her beloved husband of 64 years, John Seego and loving mother of her children Debbie Guzman, John Seego Jr. (Mary), Lisa Brandonisio (Ralph), Tony Seego (Heather).

Norma was the beloved grandmother of Nina (Jeff), Erica (Adam), Cara, John III, Justin, Tony (Cortney), Kylie (Jon), Mark (Autumn), Joseph (Christa), Michael (Iliana). She was a cherished and proud great-grandmother to Vinny (Kayla), Isaac, Olivia, Norma (Dominic), Aiden, Riley, Chase, Ty, Mikey, Brooklyn, Giada, Santino, Kynzie and Mark Jr.

Norma was a quiet, gentle, loving soul with a pure and honest heart. Her love for dogs, fishing, gardening, trying her luck at Keno, the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears was known to all. Her children and grandchildren fondly remember her love for baking and how she loved to surprise them with sweet treats when they would visit. Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured and the memories she leaves behind. Norma's home was full of warmth, laughter, and delicious aromas, especially during the holidays for which she so greatly loved. She was the spirit of Christmas, and nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her family.

Norma was an avid collector of cookbooks, elephant statues (known for good luck), Wizard of Oz collectibles and Precious Moments figurines. Little did she know - she WAS the precious moments in all of our lives, and she will live in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be held on Monday at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, Sciaraffa Funeral Directors, 450 W. Lake Street, Roselle, 60172 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Tuesday with family and friends meeting directly at St. Mary Immaculate Church, 15629 S.
