Patricia L. Monzella

Patricia L. Monzella (nee Voss), age 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at her
home in Glendale Heights, IL. She was born on January 15, 1946, to the late Fred and the late
Elinor Voss. Patricia was happily married to Vincent M. Monzella, to whom she married on
August 1, 1964, and were married for 59 years. Patricia is survived by Vincent, her daughters
Lynn (Joseph) Suareo and Deborah Hardin; her grandchildren Joseph (Olivia) Suareo, Michael
(Alyssa) Suareo, and Genna Hardin; and her great grandson Valentino Suareo. She was a loving
sister to the late Fred (the late Kay) Voss, Joseph (Dawn) Voss, the late Eugene (the late Kathy)
Voss, James (Debbie) Voss, Shirley (the late Don) Schwahn, the late Carol (the late Sam)
Moustafa, and Barbara Strother, and was an aunt to many nieces and nephews. Patricia was
passionate about her family and was at her happiest when she spent time with her children,
grandchildren and great grandchild. She was an avid reader, and will be remembered for her
skill of crocheting, which she used to make beautiful gifts for her loved ones. Family, friends,
and anyone else who’s life was touched by Patricia is invited to Salerno’s Rosedale Chapel, 450
