Patrick A. Spero, age 92, a US Navy and Coast Guard veteran of WWI and Korea, was the beloved husband of the late Amelia (nee Groh); devoted father of Patrick Jr. and the late Patricia Morris; dear grandfather of Sarah (Michael) Ritzman and Christopher Morris, and great-grandfather of Grace and Tanner Ritzman. A chapel service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (¾ mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road), Roselle. Entombment will be in Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the MS Society appreciated.
