Paul Cotton, 59, died October 6, 2016 after a year and a half long battle with prostate cancer. Mr. Cotton was born October 19, 1956 in Chicago. He was the oldest of three children. After graduating from Northern University, Mr. Cotton worked at his father’s car dealership, Joe Cotton Ford in Carol Stream. Paul worked there and oversaw the operation for most of his life. He prided himself on his involvement in the community, from sponsoring sports teams, having community car washes, spending time at high school Relay for Life walks to donating money to the American Cancer Society. A family man, Paul looked out for his family and extended family first. Mr. Cotton is survived by his wife, Bernie and his two children Joseph and Jacqueline Cotton. He is the son of Joe Cotton and Bea Dunteman and brother to Pam Conn and Renee Keller. A wake will be held at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels 450 W. Lake St. Roselle, IL. 60172 (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rd.) on Friday, October 14 from 2pm-8pm. On Saturday October 15, family and friends are asked to gather at St. John Neumann Church 2900 E Main St, St Charles, IL 60174. Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
