Peter S. Mouhelis

Peter S. Mouhelis, Age 95, born in Kerasea, Tripoli, Greece, fell asleep in the lord on September 25, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Adored son of the late Stefano and Efiyenia. Devoted husband of 58 years to Alexandra (nee Antonopoulos). Loving father of Effie (Len) Taormina and Vivian (Gino) De Rango. Proud papou of Nicollette, Allyse, Andreana, Alexis and Andrew. Dear brother of Gus (late Christine), the late Demetra (late Niko) and the late Niko. Son-in-law of the late Antonios and the late Paraskevi. Brother-in-law of the late Panteli (Maria) and the late Dina (late Peter). Fond uncle, cousin and friend of many in the USA and in Greece. Proud member of the Brotherhood of Kerasea. Peter joined the Greece Army in 1946 to serve in WWII. He served in the 2nd brigade of the Army Green Berets, which was part of the special forces unit. He was in combat for three years and was a platoon leader during his service. He came to the USA in 1965.
