Phil Castrogiovanni

Phil Castrogiovanni, a cherished member of the Chicagoland community, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on September 30, 1941, Phil dedicated his life to his career as a proud CPA for over 40 years. In addition to his accounting career, he passionately pursued his love for the performing arts as a professional actor and model for 20 years, showcasing his diverse talents and captivating many with his charisma.

Phil’s life was not solely defined by his professional accomplishments; he was also a man of varied interests and hobbies. He found joy in bowling, visiting casinos, and loved watching game shows, which provided him moments of laughter and excitement. 

He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory. He is survived by his devoted wife, Nancy (nee Prokopek) Castrogiovanni, and their three children: Bill (Genie) Castrogiovanni, Tricia (Kent) Ball, and Kari Castrogiovanni. Phil was also a proud grandfather to Haeley and Porter Ball, who brought immense joy to his life. He is further survived by his brother, Joseph (Ginger) Castrogiovanni.

Phil was preceded in death by his siblings, Jasper (late Rosemary) Castrogiovanni and Connie (late Roy) Osborn. Their memories will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved him.
