Phil Castrogiovanni

Philip J. Castrogiovanni, a cherished member of the Chicagoland community, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on September 30, 1941, Philip dedicated his life to his career as a proud Certified Public Accountant for over 40 years, during which he exemplified professionalism and integrity. In addition to his accounting career, he passionately pursued his love for the performing arts as a professional actor and model for 20 years, showcasing his diverse talents and captivating many with his charisma.

Philip's life was not solely defined by his professional accomplishments; he was also a man of varied interests and hobbies. He found joy in bowling, visiting casinos, and loved the thrill of watching game shows, which provided him moments of laughter and excitement. One of his proudest accomplishments was his time as a drummer with the Royal Airs Drum and Bugle Corps, which allowed him to express his musicality and share unforgettable experiences with fellow musicians.

He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory. He is survived by his devoted wife, Nancy (nee Prokopek) Castrogiovanni, and their three children: Bill (Genie) Castrogiovanni, Tricia (Kent) Ball, and Kari Castrogiovanni. Philip was also a proud grandfather to Haeley and Porter Ball, who brought immense joy to his life. He is further survived by his brother, Joseph (Ginger) Castrogiovanni.

Philip was preceded in death by his siblings, Jasper (late Rosemary) Castrogiovanni and Connie (late Roy) Osborn. Their memories will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved him.
