Ricardo Robles Rinosa, Jr.

Ricardo Robles Rinosa Jr. (“Ric” or “Kuya Carding” or as we call him, “Pop”) passed away peacefully on February 19, 2024 at the age of 79. Even with medical issues in the past few years, he showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile and lots of laughter. Through the pain and challenges though, Pop came out a hero and stayed strong until the end. Ric was born on October 18, 1944 in Abucay, Bataan, Philippines. After graduating with a degree in Architecture in 1968, he made the move to the United States to provide for a better life and continue his career as an architect. Through his hard work and dedication in his craft, he was able to establish STR Partners, which continues to thrive today. Pop retired in 2011, at which point he was able to spend more time with his family and grandchildren, as well as his love for playing golf. Ric is survived by his beautiful wife, Patricia. He was a loving “Pop” to two sons: Patrick and Ryan; two amazing daughter-in-laws: Joanna and Cheryl; and most of all, proud of his two grandchildren: Sebastian and Liam.
