Richard A. Battaglia

Richard A. Battaglia, age 73, beloved husband of Denni (nee Naughton); devoted father of Sam (Jamie), Bates and Anthony Battaglia; fond stepfather of Erin Grady and Elizabeth Yaros; loving son of the late Sam and Angela (nee Siciliano) Battaglia; dear brother of Joane Gagliano and the late Sam Joseph Battaglia and adored papa of Sammy, Freddy, Frankie, Bates and Grady.
Richards passion were his grandchildren. He also enjoyed hockey and football. He was inducted into the semi-pro football hall of fame in 2017, which was attended by his children and his best friend of 60 years, Chuck Marston of Lombard, IL. He loved baseball and kept in touch with his childhood team that won the national championship in 1960. He was a devoted father, loving husband and grandfather. All services will be private.
