Rinaldo P. Elia passed away while surrounded by his loving family on Sunday,
August 13, 2023. Beloved Husband of Luisa nee Esposito for 61 fantastic years.
Devoted Father of Josphine Knoebel and Maria Elia-Beecroft. Loving son of the
late Eugenio, the late Maria and the late Josphine. Fond Grandfather of Samuel,
Andrew and Mason. Dear Brother of the late Giovanina (the late Mario) Monaco,
the late Francesco (Esterina) Elia, the late Maria (the late Luigi) Astorino and the
late Natalina (Fredinando) Scola. Dear Uncle and Great Uncle of many.
Family and Friends are to gather for the Visitation Friday, August 18, 2023 from
3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 West Lake Street, Roselle,
Illinois 60172. Funeral to follow Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Salerno’s Rosedale
Chapels at 8:30 a.m. proceeding to St. Hubert Catholic Church, 729 Grand Canyon
Street, Hoffman Estates, Illinois 60169. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated
promptly at 10:00 a.m. Interment at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, River Grove,
