Robert “Bob” Lawicki
May 27, 1941 – March 13, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Lawicki, who left us on March 13th at the age of 83. Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, whose humor, kindness, and energy touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Born on May 27, 1941 in Chicago, Bob grew up with a strong work ethic and an even stronger sense of family. His passion for family, friends, golf, and fishing brought joy not only to himself but to all those around him.
Bob was known for his unwavering love for his family. He shared 32 wonderful years with his beloved wife Nancy with warmth, wisdom, and laughter. He was a cherished father to Cheryl, Laura, Bob Jr., Natalie, and Michael whose stories, wit, and guidance will be deeply missed.
His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family. He is now reunited with Martha (mother), Anthony (father), Natalie (daughter), Sienna (granddaughter), and MJ (grandson) who welcomed him with open arms.
A visitation and celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 11a-1p at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapel in Roselle, IL. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor and remember the remarkable man he was. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Bob’s memory at www.cancer.org
Bob’s warmth, wit, and unwavering kindness will forever remain in our hearts. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
