Rose Miller

With deep love and profound sadness, The Scorza Family announces the passing of Rose Marie Miller (Blaha). Rose was a devoted Wife (late William “Bill” Miller), Mother, Nana, and Best Friend, who left this world surrounded by her love she poured into others. Rose’s legacy is one of quiet strength, unwavering devotion, and a lifetime of compassionate service to her family.

Rose embodied a rare kind of strength — not loud or boastful, but steady, gentle, and enduring. She taught those around her what resilience truly looks like, not through grand speeches but through the way she showed up every single day, no matter how heavy the burden. Her love was expressed in selfless actions, soft encouragement, and the grace with which she faced life’s hardships.

She shared a deep and enduring love with her late husband, Bill (William Miller), the true love of her life. Their bond was a testament to loyalty, partnership, and commitment. Rose cared for Bill with extraordinary tenderness during his battle with cancer, and those who loved them both, find comfort in knowing they are together once again.

Rose’s love for her two daughters was unconditional, Felicia Gonzales and Christine Scorza, she was not only a mother but a best friend and guiding light. Her girls carry their mother’s strength within them — a gift Rose passed down through countless acts of love, sacrifice, and grace.

Rose’s greatest joy was being “Nana Rose” to her beloved grandchildren, Johnny and Nicolette Scorza. She celebrated every moment of their lives — attending every school event, every game, every milestone. Rose was always the loudest cheerleader, the proudest Nana, and the most passionate supporter. Her love for her grandchildren radiated through everything she did.

Seven years ago, Rose moved into the Scorza home, where the entire family, including Johnny and Nicolette cared for her with the same devotion she had always shown them. Her grandkids kindness, patience, and presence during her illness were a testament to the love she instilled in them. Her legacy will continue to live on through them, unmistakably and forever.

Rose also shared a special bond with her son-in-law, John, whom she often lovingly referred to as “the son I always wanted.” In treasured family photos, she is seen holding him tightly — a reflection of the deep affection they shared. John’s patience, love, and unwavering support throughout Rose’s illness brought immense comfort to her and to the entire family.

Rose’s life was defined by kindness, her deep faith, loyalty, and the belief that love is shown most powerfully through presence. She built her legacy in the everyday moments — the ones that stitched her family tightly together and made everyone around her feel safe, cherished, and supported.

She leaves behind a family who will miss her endlessly but will forever carry her spirit in their hearts. Rose is now at peace, reunited with her beloved Bill, watching over her family as their guardian angel.

The Scorza family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered compassion, support, and friendship during this time. Your presence and love mean more than words can express.

Rose’s love, strength, and grace will live on always.

May Rose rest in eternal peace.
