1931-2018
Ruth, a resident of Lexington Home Healthcare in Schaumburg Illinois, passed away on July 14, 2018. A loving mother of four, she was preceded by her late husband Ely Camaganacan in 2008. Known as a person who enjoyed life and family, she also had a heart for ballroom dancing which paved her way to co-found a local group called the “Dance Lovers Club.” She migrated with her husband from the Philippines back in 1985 and has lived here in Illinois ever since. Together they have four children, Elsie (Russpan), Irma (Joe), Joel, and Elvin (Thelma). Fondly called “Mommy Dada,” she was a grandmother to Rhoneil (Mico), Rhona (Lawrence), Eizelle (MJ), Vincent, JC (Hannah), JP, Elma, Leah (Oliver), Ethel (Joseph), Mark Eli (Leigh), Reika (Ron), David , Aaron and a great-grandmother to Rachel, Regine, Dasha, Daena, Mareiz Janelle, Alana, Gwen, Beatrice, Bianca, George, Emma, Nadine, Kaeden Eli, Rion and Renzo.
A celebration of her life will be held at Edison Park United Methodist Church, 6740 N Oliphant Ave, Chicago, IL 60631, on July 23rd at 10 am.
