With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Sandra Paredes Urquiza, who left us far too soon at the age of 48.

Sandra was a woman of endless warmth, quiet strength, and deep compassion. She was the heart of our family—always putting others before herself, always making sure everyone was taken care of, and always doing so with a full heart and a warm smile.

She had a gift for bringing people together, often around a table filled with her incredible cooking. Her meals were more than just food—they were love served on a plate, and every dish carried memories we’ll hold onto forever. Whether it was a comforting breakfast before school or a big family dinner, her kitchen was a place of laughter, comfort, and connection.

Every morning, no matter how tired she was or how much she had on her plate, she made sure we were ready for the day—combed hair, packed lunches, words of encouragement, and a kiss goodbye. Those early moments are treasures now, woven into our lives like the love she never stopped giving.

She worked hard her whole life, not just in her job, but in every role she held—as a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend. Her kindness was quiet but powerful. Her loyalty was unwavering. She made everyone around her feel seen and cared for.
