Santino "Sonny" Greco

With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Santino (“Sonny”) Greco, born May 27, 2020 and deceased May 27, 2025. Sonny was the apple of his family’s eye and the sweetest, most life-living 5-year old anyone could imagine. He had a zest for life that was beyond his years. Sonny loved spending time outside with his friends and family, playing sports, fishing, and generally socializing with his peers. His distinct chipmunk voice was his signature trait, along with his curly hair, cleft chin, Ray Ban prescription glasses, and warm round face made him unforgettable. Sonny’s genuine, kind-hearted nature made everyone that met him love him instantly. He was, in every way, one of a kind - irreplaceable not only to his loved ones, but to the world.

Santino is the beloved son of Eddie and Marissa Greco; cherished brother of Eddie Jr., Marcello, Francesco, and his soon-to-arrive baby brother. He is the adored grandson to Eddie and Lisa Greco and Phil and Lisa Cusumano; great-grandson of Pasquale and Gina Greco, Caterina (the late Frank) Cusumano, and Vera (the late Peter) Caruso. Dear nephew of Frank and Gina Cusumano and Pat and Brianna Greco, Vincenzo Cusumano and Angelo Cusumano; and his dear cousins to Analisa, Lisa, Gabriella, Eddie, Philip, Nina, Francesca, and Angelina.

Sonny’s absence leaves an unfillable space, but his love and light will live on forever in the hearts of all who had the blessing to know him.

Visitation Sunday June 1 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's School Gymnasium, 787 Crane Road. St. Charles. ENTER THRU DOOR 14 ONLY. 

Family and Friends to meet directly at St. Patrick's Church on Crane Road, 6N491 Crane Road, St. Charles on Monday June 2, 2025 at 10:15 a.m. for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.

Interment will be held a Prairie Cemetery in St. Charles Township, immediately following the Mass. Prairie Cemetery is located just North of the Church. We are asking all that are able to walk to the Cemetery, please do so, as parking in Cemetery will be limited to only family and the elderly.

NOTE: TO ALL FLORIST- FLOWERS ARE TO BE DELIVERED TO SCHOOL GYMNASIUM (DOOR 13) ON SUNDAY MORNING
