Slavica DiDonna

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved, Slavica (nee Mikan) DiDonna, who passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025 at the age of 73, surrounded by loved ones. She was the heart of our family and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Born on June 5 th ,1952 in Lović, Croatia, Slavica was the Beloved Daughter of the late Janko Mikan and Ana Ramušćak. While she had many interests throughout her life her greatest passion was her family. She dedicated her life to creating a loving home where countless memories were made. She encouraged and supported those she loved in every endeavor, always there with a listening ear and a warm embrace. Her happiest times were spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She found immense joy in the simple things like hosting gatherings with family and friends, cooking everyone's favorite foods and sharing recipes. Her love was a source of endless strength and wisdom, and the values she instilled in her family will be carried on for generations.

Slavica was The Loving wife of Dominic;  Loving Mom of  Joseph (Amanda), Anna (Aaron Haber) and  Elise (Behroz); Loving Nonna of Francesca and Arya;  Dear Sister of  Kata(the late Joža), Marko, Cvjetko (Barica), Nikola (Ana), and Pepica (the lateLjubo), many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and extended family as well as a wide circle of friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents Janko and Ana, and her siblings Ivan, Ivka, Zvonko, and Josip (the late Stana)

A Memorial Service will be held at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. Roselle, IL on September 26 th from 4pm-8pm.
