Stanislaw Okonski

Stanislaw “Stan” Okonski, 67, of Wood Dale, was born in Poland in February 1956 and passed on February 6th, 2024 in his home. After any amount of contact, it was quick to perceive his love for music, photography, and the Chicago Bears. After immigrating to the United States in 1980, he sought the American dream in his pursuit of happiness, starting a family, and demonstrating his expert craftsmanship as a machinist. He is survived by his former spouse of 12 years, Ania (Harnish), his children Angelica (Kiezel) and Michael, and his grandchild Nikolai. He was the loving son of the late Wojciech and Helena, brother of the late Jozef, and proud brother to Alina, Franciszek, Ryszard, and Kazimierz. He loved all that called him brother, uncle, and friend, and leaves us all with fond memories.
