Thomas Laudadio, 93, born in Mola Di Bari, Italy, and longtime resident of St. Charles, Illinois, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, reuniting with his beloved wife, Maria.
Thomas was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather whose life was defined by devotion to family, a strong work ethic, and a genuine interest in the wellbeing of everyone around him. His career as a machinist reflected the same dedication and steadiness he brought to every part of his life.
His journey began when he immigrated to the United States at the age of 16, embracing new opportunities with courage and determination. Shortly after, he proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1952–1954. In 1960, he married Maria, and together they built a beautiful life, sharing 56 joyful years. Providing for his family was a source of tremendous pride, and he approached that responsibility with unwavering commitment.
Outside of work and family, Thomas found joy in simple, everyday pleasures. He loved tending to his garden, keeping a perfectly manicured lawn, and chatting with the staff during his daily visits to the grocery store. Above all, he was happiest supporting his children and grandchildren in all their endeavors, always ready with encouragement, wisdom, and heartfelt life advice.
He is the beloved husband of the late Maria nee: Cascella; Loving father of Joseph (Laura) Laudadio, Tina (Chris Maynard) Laudadio and Pia (Dan O’Brien) Laudadio; Devoted son of the late Joseph and Pasqua nee: Russo Laudadio; Cherished Nonno of Jordan (Geoff) Brummett, Thomas (Claire) Laudadio, Niko Klebosits, Alia Klebosits and Marco Klebosits; Step-nonno of Alex (Alexa) Maynard, Megan O'Brien, and Jack O'Brien. Loving Bisnonno of Joey, Cora and Alexander; Dearest brother of Cosmo Laudadio and the late Damon Laudadio.
In lieu of flowers donations to Tom’s Favorite Charity, St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital, appreciated.
