Thomas D. Siele

Thomas D. Siele passed away on November 5, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on April 16, 1945, he will be remembered with love for the life he built, the family he cherished, and the many interests that brought him joy through the years.

Thomas was a graduate of St. Mel's High School and Northern Arizona University. He went on to build a successful career, serving as vice president for logistics with OCE-USA. His professional life reflected dedication and steady leadership, and he took pride in the work he did.

Outside of work, Thomas enjoyed a number of lasting passions. In his earlier years, he enjoyed hunting, and he remained an avid golfer throughout his life. He was also a diehard Chicago White Sox fan, following his team with enduring enthusiasm. To his wife Dawn, he was affectionately known as “Maso,” a nickname that speaks to the closeness and warmth they shared.

Above all, Thomas will be remembered by those who knew and loved him best. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dawn Siele, née Fenn; his sister, Catherine (Steve) Berning. He is also lovingly remembered by his nephew, Thomas (Dana) Berning and his niece, Annette (Chris) Hanson; and by his great-nieces Leah, Brooke, Avery, and Sophia, and his great-nephews Luke, Frankie, and Tony. Their memories of him will remain a lasting source of comfort and gratitude.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Ann “Bernice” Siele, and by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, George R. and Betty Fenn, née Kilgallon.

Visitation will be held on November 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Damian Catholic Church, 131 S. Crest Ave., Bartlett, Illinois. A Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will take place on November 11, 2026, at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleums, 1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, Illinois.

Thomas D. Siele will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
