Timothy Steven Dorrian, 48, a longtime resident of Schaumburg, Illinois, passed away on June 9, 2026, in Park Ridge. He was a cherished son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend. Born June 29, 1977, Tim graduated from Hoffman Estates High School and worked in customer service for many years. He served as a grocery bagger at Jewel-Osco and Mariano’s, both in Schaumburg. He was an active member of Gigi’s Playhouse in Hoffman Estates for many years. Tim loved listening to music, especially Michael Jackson. He enjoyed watching movies, wrestling, and TV shows, particularly Saved by the Bell and Beverly Hills, 90210. He was an avid fan of Chicago sports teams, including the White Sox, Cubs, Blackhawks, Bears and Bulls. He also enjoyed playing sports; including basketball and track & field competitions. He participated in Northwest Special Recreation Association activities for many years, including the Special Olympics, where he even earned a trip to compete in track at the state level one year. Some of his favorite characters/celebrities were Batman, The Rock, Arnold Schwarzenegger and John Cena. Tim relished all holidays, but Halloween was his favorite. Always the life of the party, he loved spending time with family and friends and could often be found talking and dancing with everyone. Tim was a bright light to all who had the privilege of knowing him. We’re sure he’s moonwalking his way around heaven and making new friends everywhere he goes. He is survived by his mother, Joanne Dorrian; his sisters, Jennifer (Joe) DeGroot and Jessica (Joel) Frediani; and his beloved nieces, Julia, Alyson, Olive, and Hazel. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Dorrian. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 27th from 12-4 pm at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels in Roselle. In his memory, donations may be made to Gigi’s Playhouse Celebration Club.
