Victor E. Cruz, 76, of Bartlett, IL was born October 18th, 1945 in Manila, Philippines was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday evening, November 28th, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Lourdes Dayrit Cruz, and his parents in law, Jose and Herminia Bactad Floresca.

He is survived by his wife Evelyn, children Michael(Patricia), Michelle, and Farrah; siblings Jun(Sonia), Winnie(Connie), and Divina(late Alexander); nephew Leslie and nieces Mary Joy, Kristine(Chad), and Chelsea; grandchildren Jacqueline, Trinity, and Mikayla.

He was also the brother in law to Adolphus(Louisa), Benedicto(Jean), Fe(late Jun), and late Crisanto. He was an uncle and great uncle to many.

He is fondly remembered by many relatives, friends, and coworkers-near and afar.

To his siblings he was known as “Titong” and to his grandchildren “Lolo Crazy.” To others, he was a real “charmer.”

He attended Caloocan High School and Feati University in the Philippines before moving to the United States. He worked in downtown Chicago as a jeweler and travel agent, then ultimately retired from United Airlines in air freight logistics. He had a love for travel, photography, golf, cars, sports, calligraphy, tailored suits, scuba diving, cooking, drinking Dr Pepper, and was always teaching himself something new. He had a passion for music-he played guitar, the organ, and used to teach children how to play the accordion. Listening to music daily gave him peace and allowed him rest.

His work is done, it is time to rest. May God’s angels carry him to everlasting paradise.
