Abbate age 84 of Wood Dale, beloved wife of Giaocchino; devoted mother of Giovanna ( Nunzio) Fricano, Domenica (Paolo) LoSecco and Angela (Tom) Athanasakos; dear grandmother of Anna (Keith) Cantrell, John (Nicole) Fricano, Tonia (Jason) Potentas, Gianpaolo (Fiance Meaghan Kaiser), LoSecco, George and Kathryn Athanasakos; great grandmother of Gabriella Cantrell, Adriana Fricano, Jason and Christian Potentas; dear sister of the late Rosolino, the late Antonino, Angelina and Antonio. Funeral Tuesday, family and friends are asked to gather 9:00 a.m. at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels 450 W. Lake St. Roselle, IL. 60172 (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rd.) to Holy Ghost Church. Mass 10:00 a.m. Entombment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. Visitation Monday 3:00-9:00 p.m.
