To all.....Darla was truly one of a kind - take no prisoners kind of lady. Everyone knew just where they stood with Darla. I admired her for that quality. Above all I remember her laugh and wicked sense of humor. My sincerest condolences to all. She will be with us all in our collective memories.

Aunt I don’t have the words to express how much you meant to me. Thanks for everything you did for me. You treated me like one of your own kids and I’ll never forget it. I love and and will miss you. I happy we got to talk on the phone last year. Honestly without you and grandma and aunt Debbie I not sure where I’d be today. You will be missed.

My Sweet Aunt Darla, Aunt there are so many things that I am going to miss about you, I wish I had one more moment to be able to tell you all of those things and tell you that I love you. I am so grateful in the last couple of years being able to hear your voice and to be able to talk to you when you called the office. Listening to you laugh and having someone to talk to when you needed to. You deserve ALL the love in the world Aunt, just like everyone else does. Blessed to be your Niece. I wish I had Another minute to say All the past is behind Today is THE day Things that were hard Painful and mostly true Can’t pierce your skin And no longer hurt you I wasn’t there but I know in my heart You dealt with things No one could take apart I cant get your laugh Out of my mind Is that what you are doing now? Peace did you find? Sister yes you are Mother of so many Wife you gave it all Human inside plenty The walls you put up You spoke with thick skin It was a way to protect So no one could get in I will never forget you Things you have been through Lessons to pass along Love is what to run to When they came To take you away I hope they held you and said You will not cry another day I love you Aunt, wishing you all the happiness heaven has to offer.
