Edward N. Krys

Edward N. Krys, Age 90, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2024. He was born in Olejow, Poland on June 7, 1934. Ed was a resident of Roselle, IL for 47 years and formerly resided in Chicago. Beloved husband of Loretta (nee Krakowski) Krys for 60 years. Loving father of Catherine (Kenneth) Wiess and Dr. E. Michael Krys. Cherished grandfather of Kenneth Anthony (Tiffany) Wiess III and Natalie Wiess R.N., B.S.N., PCCN. Dear brother in law of Marlene Krakowski and uncle & godfather of Jeffrey (Lisa) Darschewski and uncle to Kenneth (Pam) Darschewski. After his military service in the U.S. Army, he worked for Cinch/TRW, Molex and the DuPage County Courthouse until he retired in 1999. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Mary Darschewski on August 9, 2024 and his brother-in-law Jack Darschewski. Ed will be terribly missed by his family and friends. You are very much loved! Funeral services and Burial (Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL) were held privately on Monday September 9, 2024.
