Endre Vogan

Endre B. “Andy” Vogan, a flight engineer in the US Navy, veteran of World War II. Beloved husband of the late Jewel “Judy” (nee Souheaver); devoted father of Bert (Karen) Christensen; dear brother of Alice Capone, and the late Fred (Mildred), Sis (Bill) Zamzow and Violet (Bud) Fischer; brother-in-law of Tony Capone; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was a proud son of Norwegian immigrants and a graduate of Lane Tech High School. His passions were oil painting and ham radio operator. He ended each day with his Manhattan cocktail. His first job was working alongside his father at Gardner Bros. Coffee & Tea Co. He finished his career as vice president of R.O. Schultz Tool & Die Co. Funeral Saturday 9:30 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:30 a.m. at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (¾ mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road), Roselle. Interment Mount Olive Cemetery.
